Antonine Rodier - Painter Artist

Originally from Saint-Hyacinthe, the artist now resides in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada. When she was approximately 12 years old, she taught herself how to paint with oils. Somewhat self-taught, while in the workforce, she completed her training with different artists and academies, and participated in miscellaneous workshops. Beginning in 1995, she devoted herself exclusively to painting.

She prefers oil painting, but also uses water-colour, soft pastel and egg tempera. She expresses herself through different subjects. We find in her scenes a great concern for detail and the luminosity that is a characteristic of her art are very apparent.

Carole Laurence - Painter Artist

Animal and naturalist painter, with a realistic and contemporary style for wich her Native American roots  have anchored a deep passion for nature. Sometimes the style will be very near to abstract leaving the person gazing and evolving with the canvas. Additions of natural materials can often be found in her achievements.

Having a view on the river, she has a daily contact with nature, the animals, the flora. Fascinated with the fragility and the beauty that have always inspired her.

Geneviève Fréchette - Painter Artist

I'm from Sherbrooke in the province of Quebec. Being a self-taught artist painter for the past 25 years, I paint what I feel, which really makes me vibrate. My main medium is oil. Sometimes I use my own technique of paper under oil or aluminum wire that will be structured to accompany mywork. My favorite subjects are horses, landscapes, characters and more. Yes, I am very diversified but my colors follow me and I love life too much to stop me in a single line. The life is before my eyes, I taste it with the look and I like to paint what attracts me.

Line Brunelle - Painter Artist

Line Brunelle was born in Montreal. As a child, she was interested in arts (drawing, colours, dance and music). Considering painting as a privileged way to be world-opened, she decided, as a teenager, to become a painter. She completed CEGEP, with a Fine Arts specialization. She then got a Degree in Graphic Design at the University of Quebec in Montreal. Line Brunelle has explored many mediums during her training, but, now, the artist favours painting, which she considers as the best way to express her creation urge.

Michel Sylvain - Art collection

Street scenes and painting in spectacular fusion, subtly blended in structures of everyday life, create a reality whose images speak loud and clear in the work of Michel Sylvain. Michel Sylvain’s urbanscape teem with human life caught up in the rush of the moment. Motion stilled and distilled in space and time. These are movie stills, laces of lasting delight, familiar neighborhoods where the human comedy unfolds so convincingly you can imagine yourself right there in the thick of it.

My artistic talents have been remarked since my early childhood. Verry quickly I was called upon for my talent with drawings, paintings and decorations. My advanced studies and professional work forced me to delay my desire to paint to my retirement from my professional life. A serious health accident at the dawn of my forties pushed my projest ahead. I picked up my brushes and produced several oils. Then with two of my colleagues, I organized an artistic event at my workplace where I sold several of my paintings. A good part of my dreams were realized.
